Yet another amazing week. We truly embraced this terms value of courage, as evidenced by our two nativity performances this week. We did such an amazing job and made all our adults very proud! We have had a lot of Christmas fun this week and have been very arty. We have finished off our hot writes in literacy and written very interesting stories of our many characters defeating monsters. In our continuous provision this week, we have been writing letters to Santa, completing addition and subtraction Christmas colouring and writing about our favourite things to do each season. We have also had a go at painting Christmas presents in a pointillism style.
Our spellings for after half term are already in our reading diaries. All of our books have been switched ready for the Christmas break.
When we return, we will be taking part in forest school again. All of year 1 will need their forest school things on Tuesdays for the whole of Spring 1.
