Today, a team of ten Year 4 children took part in a Tag Rugby Competition at Wellingborough RFC. 7 matches were played against other local schools in the area, with the children remaining motivated and enthusiatic throughout. I was especially proud of the way the team offered encouragement to each other and continued to battle for every point. The whole team were keen to play, right up until the final game, making decsions on who should be substituted incredibly difficult. Each of the children deserve huge congratulations for their efforts, however, there were some that deserve a special mention. Jack and Joshua both ran continually in their attempts to score a try while Eva and Sam sprinted back in defense, making fantastic challenges to remove the tags from their opponents.
