This week the children have been attacking column multiplication when multiplying 4-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers. They must remember the place holder when multiplying by the tens digit but, all in all, a very successful start to the unit.
In Science, we have completed our investigation and recorded our results. Most of the children discovered that when you add a cell to a circuit, the component with increase its function (e.g. a bulb gets brighter). The children displayed their results as a table and line graph.
In DAaRT, the children explored the difference between bullying and hate crime. The children were introduced the to protected characteristics and why they are protected in terms of discrimination.
