First week back has been a blast. We have started very strong on our space topic, showing so much interest and sharing our knowledge we have already. We have been having loads of fun in literacy lessons writing silly sentences! Finally, in maths we have been continuing to use part whole models but to subtract not just for addition. We were also fortunate enough to take part in a Diwali Dance workshop!
In our continuous provision this week we have been drawing and describing planets using the laptops, we have also been completing part whole models. To help with our literacy, we have been sorting words into verbs and not verbs. We made our own planet stick puppets to act out space scenes with our friends. We also practised some threading and drew different weathers for our science topic.
Additionally, we have begun our nativity practice, learning some new songs. We have already learnt 4 new songs and are working really hard!
