Welcome to this week’s blog
It has been another busy week for preschool!
Our Forest School session was held indoors, where we made Christmas wreaths using leaves we had collected earlier that had dried out. We added lots of glitter to make them sparkle.
In Maths, we recapped 2D and 3D shapes. To help us recognise and develop our understanding of them, we went for a walk around the school and outdoor area to see what shapes we could find.
The children were so excited this week to have a story read by Santa, who visited us in the Forest School grotto. He read Aliens Love Panta Claus.
Another festive activity we enjoyed was making reindeer food. We used oats and edible glitter to leave out for Rudolph and the other reindeer on Christmas Eve.
