Geography, visitor, 5 in a Row & nativity
On Tuesday we had a visit from Andrew Moffat to read a story to the class that taught us all about including everyone even if we’re different. We spoke about what makes us all the same and how we all look different and how we can celebrate this. The children loves making their own clubs where everyone was invited!
For our Geography topic, we started looking at birds eye views and how they are different to maps. We went around the classroom to see the most important pieces of furniture that would be needed to draw our own view of the classroom. The children practised drawing this on the squared paper to ensure the sizing and then had a go at drawing their own.
Well done to the children getting their ‘5 in a row’ weekly! We have seen a massive increase of reading at home. Thank you parents for your on going support.
