What a busy term we have had and what a lot to look forward to in the spring term.
In science lessons, we are continuing to investigate materials, including insulators and conductors. We will be learning about the properties of materials in greater detail and will continue to learn more about reversible and irreversible changes such as burning.
In literacy lessons, we will be using persuasive writing and will be designing our own spy gadgets. Always a popular unit of work!
Our history topic will be Ancient Greece and we will be learning about Greek myths and ledgends, Gods and Goddesses and the contrast between daily life in Athens and Sparta. We will also be learning about the birth of democracy and how this influences politics today.
Please can homework be handed in on Fridays. There is no homework over the Christmas holiday and the new homework grids will be given out to the children at the start of term. Spelling tests will be on Fridays. The new spelling lists will also be given out to the children on the first day back.
