This week, we were thrilled to welcome two very special visitors to our class – two beautiful one-month-old lambs! The children were absolutely delighted to meet them. They each had the chance to gently hold the lambs and even try to feed them. It was an amazing experience that the children will remember for a long time. They learned so many interesting facts about sheep and how to care for animals, building their understanding of the world around them. It also provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to practise being calm, quiet, and respectful when interacting with animals.
Our outdoor learning continued with a trip to Forest School, where the children had an incredible time exploring nature. They worked brilliantly as a team to plant seeds and make fruit kebabs to feed the birds. There was also plenty of time for independent exploration, allowing the children to follow their own interests and develop their confidence in the natural environment.
It has been a week full of joy, learning, and new experiences.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter!
