What a terrific start to Year 3! We have already discovered talking fruit, through our new Talk for Writing model text – The Papaya that spoke! Looking at our history unit of work, we became hunter/gathers and used our archery skills to catch our dinner…woollly mammoth! Timelines have been completed and we had a wonderful Book Talk session using the book, Stone Age Boy. Our first Digits and a Digestive was a huge success and run fortnightly. There was also a fabulous Forest School session, however there was a lot of mud invovled! Mrs Minney linked in our Science topic of Rocks and Soils to their outdoor learning.
