We’ve had another exciting week in preschool! We’ve been discussing our families, where we live, and the special people in our lives. These conversations inspired our creative activities, as the children drew pictures of everyone who lives in their homes.
Next stop on our journey in Rhyme Town took us to the Bakery this week. The children learned the song “Hot Cross Buns” and focused on identifying instrumental sounds. They also practiced pre-writing by drawing circles.
In addition, the children began exploring early counting skills. We’ve been modeling counting during play and daily routines, encouraging the children to repeat counting words.
