We have been exploring space a lot this week, both with our busy jobs and with our work in our books. We have had a lot of grammar lessons recently, focusing on structure or a sentence, adjectives, verbs and also correct grammatical order. We have been blowing Miss Sartain away with our maths skills, really trying our hardest with subtraction number sentences. In science we have made our rain gauges and put them outside ready to measure the rainfall over the next week. We also did out very first nativity practise in the hall and made Miss Sartain very proud! To support our learning of our British value of democracy, we have been able to take part in a whole school vote to decide if the prefect should be in charge of the whole school for a day.
In our continuous provision this week we have been; using the laptops to research different seasons, designing and writing about our own planets. We made a weather book to track the weather form Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Finally, we have been cutting out sentences and putting them in the write order so they make sense.
