Pre-School Milestones 2023-2024
Welcome to Little Explorers at Cogenhoe Primary School
Our incredible Pre-school! Where children learn to grow through play, nature and discovery!
Little Explorers is a child-centred pre-school with incredible facilities – we are immensely proud to be one of the few settings in Northamptonshire to have its very own established Forest School! Our children access the Forest School weekly – whatever the weather! Our sessions encourage and support greater confidence, courage, curiosity and risk-taking within a safe environment. We want our children to develop a love for their world and everything within it.
We have high-standards and expectations for all of our children. Our children take part in daily phonics and number sessions to ensure they are well-equipped for the next stage in their education.
The Pre-school stage is an integral part of our school, providing exceptional care for children from the age of 3 upwards. Working and playing alongside our Reception Year children, the children all benefit immensely and are provided with an excellent transition to the first year of school.
Our dedicated, qualified, experienced Early Years Practitioners pride themselves on providing a secure and happy environment, where each individual truly thrives socially, academically, culturally, physically, emotionally and intellectually. Every child we care for deserves a nurturing and stimulating setting which enables them to become successful, life-long learners.
Our aim is to continually work in partnership with all parents and carers to achieve the highest outcomes for all of our children. We provide regular workshop for parents, alongside the opportunity to visit Little Explorers throughout the school year.
We offer a flexible choice of morning or afternoon sessions, with some of our children attending two separate providers. Wrap around care is also available before and after school hours to accommodate parents and working arrangements. Our approachable and friendly staff will be on hand to support you with any Government childcare funding that can be utilised, along with child care vouchers.
If you would like to come and have a look around and meet our amazing team, please arrange your bespoke, personalised visit or a complimentary stay and play session with the school office. They can be contacted on: 01604 890380 or via email at: [email protected] or call 01604 890380 We look forward to welcoming you into the Cogenhoe family.
